I made Halibut a couple of times last week and finally came up with a tartar sauce I like. Here's the recipe.
TARTAR SAUCE
2-3 Tbsp. buttermilk
3/4 C. mayonnaise
1/2 C. dill pickles, finely diced
zest from 1 lemon
juice from 1/2 a lemon
1 tsp. parsley, chopped (opt.)
1/2 tsp. or more lemon pepper
salt and pepper to taste
Chill to thicken and to allow the flavors to blend.
